50 Cent Hops Into Headphone Game With Sleek Audio

50 Cent is taking a page out of his mentor Dr. Dre's page and jumping into the headphone game, becoming the latest in a long line of musicians to try to ride the headphone craze.
The rapper unveiled a partnership with Sleek Audio on Thursday (January 6) at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, in which he introduced a line of premium wireless headphones called "Sleek by 50 Cent."
With an expected retail tag of $350, Fif' was quick to debunk any chatter that his headphones are not in direct competition with Dre.
"I took the time [and] made sure [that] I secured myself before releasing the product to the general public [and that] it might be matched up against Beats By Dre," the dapper 50 Cent explained. "I knew that immediately that they would make those comparisons and I made sure I secured myself by having something that wasn't actually in the marketplace. It's exciting, new and innovative."
The Sleek By 50 Cent Platinum headphones feature Kleer lossless wireless technology, allowing up to a 60 foot range, and a micro-USB rechargeable battery.
While the headphone market is pretty crowded -- with celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, LeBron James and legendary Thriller producer Quincy Jones -- reports said that Sleek's stock shot up since the announcement that 50 has come aboard.
"You can double your money right now," 50 advised his Twitter followers (@50Cent). "Just get what you can afford."

RZA Makes Martial Arts Movie Directorial Debut

RZA is making good on that knowledge of the Shaolin in a big screen way.
The Wu Tang Clan producer will serve as director, star and has co-written the feature film, Man With The Iron Fist. The Universal movie which is currently being filmed in China, is produced by Quentin Tarantino and boasts a 20 million dollar budget also co-stars Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. The premise? RZA plays blacksmith who makes weapons for residents of a Chinese village who are forced to defend themselves. Sounds just as riveting as a WuTang track. Speaking of which, RZA also has the beats covered too; he's producing the soundtrack. Man With The Iron Fist is due in theaters later this year.

BREAKING NEWS: Arizona congresswoman shot, judge killed at Tucson market

TUCSON, Ariz. - Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head Saturday by a gunman who opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with voters, killing a federal judge and five others in a rampage that rattled the country and left Americans questioning whether divisive politics had pushed the suspect over the edge.
Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said Giffords was the target of a gunman whom he described as mentally unstable and possibly acting along with an accomplice. He said Giffords was among 13 people wounded in the melee that killed six people, including Arizona's chief federal judge, a 9-year-old girl and an aide for the Democratic lawmaker. He said the rampage ended only after two people tackled the gunman.
Doctors were optimistic about Giffords surviving as she was responding to commands from doctors despite having a bullet pass gothrough her head. "With guarded optimism, I hope she will survive, but this is a very devastating wound," said Dr. Richard Carmona, the former surgeon general who lives in Tucson.
The sheriff pointed to the vitriolic political rhetoric that has consumed the country as he denounced the shooting that claimed several of his friends as victims, including U.S. District Judge John Roll. The judge celebrated Mass on Saturday morning like he does every day before stopping by to say hello to his good friend Giffords.
"When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes

Shaq Still Heartz Hoopz

We’re still not sure what exactly drives this couple’s existence, or why she still shows no sign of having come up like she did. But Shaq & Hoopz are still making love on the D-List despite rumors of a breakup. He even made her paparazzi official yesterday outside of Late Night With David Letterman.
He didn’t talk about her on the show though. But he had plenty to say about his other boo Kobe.
Dave then ran down a list of basketball names for Shaq and asked his impressions of each. He was silent when asked about Miami Heat GM Pat Riley, but was effusive about his old Lakers coach Phil Jackson and his former tempestuous teammate, Kobe Bryant .
“Fabulous player, probably the best player in the league right now,” O’Neal said, adding that he “thinks” he gets along better with Kobe now that they’re not on the same team.
