Drake Named The Most Retweeted Rapper On Twitter

  

Drake is taking the top spot as the rapper who's tweet was most retweeted on Twitter.

The social networking site released their list of most retweeted celebrities today  that includes Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Drizzy Drake.

The Young Money emcee beat out his mentor Lil Wayne as well as Kanye for the top spot among rappers with his simple tweet,

“We always ignore the ones who adore us, and adore the ones who ignore us,” posted on September 18.

Following behind Drizzy on the list of top rapper tweets was Lil Wayne who announced his return from prison November 4 saying,

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm baaaaakkkkkkkkkk!”

Kanye's “Im Sorry Taylor” tweet during the MTV VMAs, came in at #8 while Rihanna's tweet:

“Justin Bieber just flashed me his abs in the middle of a restaurant! Wow! He actually had a lil 6 pack! Sexy, lol! #Beliebersplzdontkillme,” ranked 9^th.

Steven Colbert ranked #1 on the list of “Most Retweeted Celebrities” with his June tweet,

“In honor of oil-soaked birds, 'tweets' are now 'gurgles."
