Ja Rule Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion

Ja Rule has pleaded guilty to tax evasion in New Jersey. The rapper admitted that he failed to pay taxes on over $3 million in income he earned between 2004 and 2006.
Ja Rule entered the guilty plea in a Newark, NJ courtroom this afternoon.  As part of a plea agreement, the government has dismissed two other charges against him for failing to file taxes in 2007 and 2008.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in June, just before he goes to jail for an attempted weapons possession charge.
